CCCC Board of Directors Update
Matt Milligan, CCCC President
The Board of Directors met in Orlando on February 4-6. This Board works exceptionally well together and it was a delight to serve alongside men and women that are united in passion for seeing Christ glorified through healthy disciple-making churches in every community of this conference. There was much to celebrate in the progress that has been made in equipping our local churches for their God-given ministries.
The staff reported on new Community Pastors groups forming, financial health resources being made available across the conference, and progress toward implementing Turning Point initiative tools for churches. Additionally, leadership teams for Church Multiplication and supervising coaches for Church Development have been formed.
The Financial situation of the conference was a joy to discuss, as the Board celebrated the increased revenue in 2018 and the growing support of our churches. A gift from a widow’s estate in January was also voted by the Board to be used to pay off the remainder of the internal debt that we have been paying back. Praise God! The timing of our additional financial freedom is perfect for where we sit in moving forward the mission opportunities that have been developing over the last several years.
These developments and many more will be celebrated and communicated in more detail at this summer’s Annual Gathering in St. Paul. The AG Committee has been working hard to make sure we will have a great Gathering and see what the Lord is doing among this amazing conference. Blessings to you all!
